While in a lot of pain, Mitsumasa Hijiriyama makes his way up Mount Nadera. He eventually comes across Masaaki Kan, and Kan asks him what's wrong. Hijiriyama explains to him that he is in a lot of pain after eating some curry rice at a place near the Nikkatsu movie theater. Kan is then shocked by the fact that he ate at that place.
Hiroshi Masumura and Hideyoshi later join the two of them, and after they get the wind that Hijiriyama ate at the place near the Nikkatsu movie theater, they are also shocked, because it turns out that, that place has a reputation for their food causing people to die. They then chastise Hijiriyama for doing such a stupid thing.
But since Hijiriyama did not die, they decide to celebrate this ocassion. They ask Hijiryama what he would like to do, and he responds saying that he wants to go see the movie that is currently playing at the Nikkatsu movie theater. However, due to him being in a lot of pain, they can't do that, but Kan says that they'll figure something out, and instructs the others to go get Koji Kobayashi
Once Koji arrives, he, Hideyoshi, Hiroshi, and Kan head out to the town of Yonezawa, so that Hideyoshi, Hiroshi, and Koji can steal a movie projector from the back of the Nikkatsu movie theater, while Kan snatches a book from Endo Bookstore.
As Hideyoshi, Koji, and Hiroshi look inside the theater, they come across Kazuhiro Matsuyama, a black cat working part-time for the Nikkatsu movie theater. As the three of them are discussing how they are going to deal with him, Kazuhiro suddenly attacks them, after he gets a sudden urge to fight. Kazuhiro manages to take down Koji and Hiroshi but is defeated after he gets punched and body-slammed by Hideyoshi.
The three of them then meet back up with Kan and head back to Mount Nadera, after they had managed to snatch the movie projector
They plan to project the movie on to the sky, once it gets dark, and when nighttime finally arrives, the movie is revealed to be a recording of "The Concert For Bangladesh." As Hijiriyama, Hideyoshi, Kan, and Koji are enjoying the movie, Hiroshi talks about how when he first heard The Beatles, he knew that there was something special about them, and as he listened to The Beatles every day, John Lennon's words and lyrics started to really resonate with him, and as a result, he decided that a life of working 9 to 5 just wasn't for him.
The title of this one-shot is named after the Beatles song "Mother Nature's Son"
Some of the cats are named after some of Hiroshi Masumura's high-school friends
