Description

Rirokotohi (リロコトヒ) is a colorless, tasteless powder that is lethal only to humans when ingested. If it is mixed with water and ingested by a human, it will kill them, but if it's not mixed with water and ingested by a human, it will reduce the human to nothing but bones. The time that Rirokotohi takes to kill a human can range from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on how much of it is mixed with water. Rirokotohi is so small that it can pass through water purification systems and water filters. It is also something that humans aren't able to detect with their current scientific knowledge. The reason that Rirokotohi kills only humans, is because it only has a harmful effect on organs unique to humans.

Rirokotohi (リロコトヒ) backwards is Hitokorori (ヒトコロリ) which is a combination of the japanese words (人, hito), a word for person or human, and (ころり, korori), a sound effect that is used when something falls down, or when something suddenly dies.

In Kiri ni Musebu Yoru (霧にむせぶ夜), the National Cat Welfare Federation plans to use this powder to kill every last human by putting it in their water supply.
